Now Showing in Parnell Memorial Library Gallery

The Montevallo Arts Council is pleased to announce our latest exhibit currently on display in the Parnell Memorial Library Gallery in Montevallo. Now showing are the works of Amy Feger.

Montevallo Artwalk is May 3

Our sister organization, Montevallo Artwalk, is working on a plan to move Friday's Artwalk indoors due to the threat of inclement weather. Stay tuned to their Facebook Page for updates on tomorrow's event.

The University of Montevallo and the City of Montevallo will begin celebrating UM’s spring commencement a day early with Artwalk, themed "Walk This May: Montevallo Celebrates Pomp, Circumstance and Creativity," May 3 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Montevallo. To date, approximately 40 artists are registered to participate.

Arts Council Hosts Annual Art Show

The Montevallo Arts Council hosted the seventh annual Montevallo Art Show on Saturday, April 13 in scenic Orr Park. If you participated in the show as an artist, vendor, or member of the general public, please fill out our Show Evaluation Form.

Council To Sponsor 2013 En Plein Air Oil Workshop

The Montevallo Arts Council (MAC) proudly sponsors a Plein Air Oil Workshop with artist Donna Chieves, winner of the MAC 2012 Art Show Quick Draw Paint Out. The workshop will take place Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 at Stamps Farm in Montevallo. Visit our event page for more information.
